I was always fond of photography and have been curious about professional photography lighting. I once thought that photography is just mere camera and nice subject or scene to capture. I have been relying on the built-in flash of the camera in order to produce great images.
When it’s dark, all I had to do is switch the flash on; or when there is ample supply of sunlight, the flash could be switched off. I thought too that one should be a professional or have taken course in order to be tagged as professional photographer, but I seemed to have thought wrong.
Professional photography lighting is one that comprised professional photography. Among factors that can create perfect photos, lighting should be given much attention as well.
I have learned to equipped myself with the techniques of portrait photography lighting when I fully understand that it can create different moods on my pictures. I cannot neglect the fact that I am not a professional photographer, but this doesn’t mean I cannot produce an excellent picture.
There were times I feel professional photography lighting can only be found in photo studios, then again, I was wrong. It could be anywhere.
When there is the roll of camera, there should accompany a good lighting; when there is an excellent subject for pictorial, well-lighted area or room should be present; and when there is an idea of creativity for photography, enough supply of light should be properly set-up in order to produce perfect images.
