There is just one goal why we need to have photography lighting and that is to produce great images or pictures that can create interest to people who will view them. True that there are many factors that can contribute to a perfect image, example of which are well lighted venue, high specification camera, and photographer’s creative idea.

A well captured picture that is well presented often garnered the most interest from most number of readers. Photography lighting should not be taken for granted nor should be underestimated. It plays crucial role in the world of photography. It can make any portrait’s detail clearer to visualize.

It can also create different ambiance and variations on the setting you want to portray. If you wanted to produce vibrant pictures, lighting should be bright enough to create a lively atmosphere. You can also adjust the lighting condition and make it dimmer, producing pictures intriguing.

Creating variations in photography lighting condition can make different stories out of one subject or image. I had an encounter with commercial shoot and I was surprised the amount of lightings they set-up on the venue.

The shooting was actually conducted in the evening, but I found out that the scene should portray a daytime activity. Then I realized, how the production have played with technology, making it look like day even when it was nighttime indeed.

Same principle goes with the photo shooting. If you aimed to make the pictures to look like taken on daytime, all you need to do is to set-up more photography lighting on the location, or vice-versa if you wanted to make it look like evening.
